Ryan Manning returns, but duo set to miss out against Bristol City

Kyle Naughton and Nathanael Ogbeta will again be absent for Swansea City’s clash with Bristol City, but Ryan Manning returns from suspension for the Swans.

Defenders Naughton and Ogbeta have been sidelined by thigh and hamstring injuries respectively, with Naughton picking up his issue against Luton, while Ogbeta suffered his problem shortly after arriving from Shrewsbury.

Ryan Bennett will miss out as he serves a one-match suspension following his red card at Stoke, but Manning is available again after serving his own ban in midweek.

“In terms of the squad it’s pretty much the game. With Kyle Naughton we were hoping to have him back towards the end of this week, but it looks like he will be back early next week now.

“Nathanael is on a similar timeframe too. Ryan Bennett is suspended but we have Ryan Manning back.

“We did miss Ryan Manning on Tuesday. He’s an important player for us, but you have to give other guys opportunities.

“Ryan Bennett being out means there’ll be another opportunity for someone else to come in."
