Sam Surridge handed England U21 call

Swansea City striker Sam Surridge has been named in the England Under-21 squad for fixtures against Albania and the Netherlands this month.
The on-loan Bournemouth forward netted his fifth goal of the season in last weekend’s win at Wigan, heading home a Connor Roberts cross in stoppage time at the DW Stadium.
He was a late call-up for the Young Lions last month, and marked his first representative selection with a goal in a 2-2 draw in Slovenia.
His performances have seen him rewarded by inclusion from the outset as Aidy Boothroyd’s side travel to face Albania in a European qualifier and the Netherlands in a friendly.
