With the 2021-22 season having reached its conclusion, we take a look back over the course of an eventful transitional period for Swansea City. Here, we look back at December  which proved to be a heavily-disrupted period as a Covid-hit festive period meant Swansea played just two games in the month.

The spread of the Omicron variant saw numerous sporting fixtures wiped out, and the Swans saw a run of four games in a row called off as Championship contests against QPR, Millwall, Luton and Fulham fell by the wayside.

The rise in cases also saw the Welsh Government take the decision to again have sporting fixtures played behind closed doors as the year ended amidst more Covid-related uncertainty.
