MADNESS
British pop national treasures Madness are coming to Swansea in July 2023.
Tickets are now on sale through the Swansea City AFC ticket office for the event taking place on Friday, July 21 where Madness will perform at Singleton Park.
Madness famously emerged from the backstreets of Camden Town in the late 1970s and recently released a three-part original docuseries with TV channel AMC about the beginnings of the band. Before We Was We: Madness by Madness chronicles the rise of one of the most loved bands in British culture and is available now on demand on BT TV.
Throughout their career, Madness have had 10 UK top ten albums, 15 top ten singles and have won a multitude of awards including a prestigious Ivor Novello. They’ve performed on the top of Buckingham Palace as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and set the record for the biggest ever audience for the BBC’s Live New Year’s Eve Broadcast - the most watched TV music event of 2018.
After 18 months cooped up considering their career options (punctuated by excursions out for critically acclaimed docu-series ‘Before We Was We’ and magnificent ‘The Get Up!’) the Nutty Boys will finally get back to doing what they do best - uniting the people for a right raucous live bash. And with a live set teeming with hits from their unrivalled back catalogue Swansea is assured of a great night out in the beautiful setting of Singleton Park.

MINISTRY OF SOUND CLASSICAL
Ministry of Sound Classical will also be performing on the same weekend at Singleton Park. The Orchestral show will take place on Saturday, July 22, celebrating the biggest dance anthems of all time. Special guests include Roger Sanchez, Jean Jacques Smoothie, K-Klass and Big Al.
Ministry of Sound takes on the very best tunes handed picked from dance music history and recreated in a breath-taking orchestral performance by an incredible 30-piece orchestra. The grounds of Singleton Park will provide the perfect backdrop for an incredible live music spectacle as Ministry of Sound Classical hits Swansea this Summer.
