Lee Trundle sets off in celebration after coolly converting what proved to be the winner as the Swans dumped Preston out of the FA Cup on January 24, 2004.

On a wonderful afternoon at The Vetch, late goals from Andy Robinson and 'Magic Daps' saw Swansea send second-tier North End packing in the fourth round.

The Swans had started superbly but failed to take early chances, and they looked to be heading out of the competition when Dickson Etuhu put the visitors a goal to the good.

But Robinson curled home a brilliant free-kick with 10 minutes remaining before Trundle read a knock-down superbly to arrive in the area and volley home what proved to be the winner.

Swansea City: Roger Freestone, Izzy Iriekpen, Stuart Jones (Leon Hylton 48), Michael Howard, Roberto Martinez, Brad Maylett, Kristian O'Leary, Andy Robinson (Jonathan Coates 85), Leon Britton, Karl Connolly (James Thomas 63), Lee Trundle.
