Swansea City take on Cardiff City in the south Wales derby this Saturday (March 16).

Kick-off is set for 12.30pm at the Swansea.com Stadium and supporters are asked to review the below information before travelling to SA1.

Former Swansea City and Cardiff City player Jason Bowen will be our guest of honour at the match. Jason is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and fans of both clubs can support him and his family by donating to his GoFundMe page here.

Players from both teams will wear warm-up shirts bearing Jason's image and guidance on how to donate.

Getting to SA1

Supporters should be aware there may be road closures around the stadium pre-match, and that road closures will be in place after the final whistle. These will cause significant delays and we thank supporters for their patience.

The club advises supporters to plan their journeys accordingly and leave in plenty of time when travelling to the Swansea.com Stadium.

Supporters in the East Stand

Ticket holders in the East Stand should also be aware of an alternative route to access their seats for this game.

Supporters can access turnstiles by walking around the South Stand, or by taking the route identified on the map below in green.

Please note:

Supporters must be 14 or over to attend a football match at the Swansea.com Stadium without an adult. Identification may be required for proof of age and a photograph of the child's passport will be sufficient.

DIGITAL TICKETS

Supporters are reminded that they can also access a digital copy of their season ticket or matchday ticket via the Swansea City app.

To use the in-app ticketing service, supporters should ensure their app is up to date and that they are running the latest version to ensure the correct tickets are pulling through. This may involve visiting your relevant app store.

Ticket holders will need to use their Swansea Club Account to access their ticket and ensure it is linked to the correct season ticket account. For more information on this and a walkthrough of the steps needed, please visit our FAQs.

Eligible supporters can access the ‘Jacks’ tab of the Swans app and click ‘view your matchday ticket’. This may prompt users to log in with their Swans Club Account, before displaying their ticket(s).

Swansea City would like to remind supporters who wish to use this service that it is the responsibility of ticket holders to check that their in-app ticket is visible before they travel to the Swansea.com Stadium. You will need internet connection for your season ticket to appear and we highly recommend adding your ticket to your smartphone wallet if possible.

Supporters are reminded that season tickets and print at home tickets will also remain fully operational, and ticket holders are welcome to use whichever option is most suitable for them.

SUPPORTING JASON BOWEN

Swansea City is supporting the club's former player Jason Bowen in his fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

Jason made 160 appearances for the Swans between 1990 and 1995, and was part of the side that won the Autoglass Trophy at Wembley in 1994.

Jason revealed his diagnosis in February 2023, and he is raising funds to help with the considerable financial costs of his ongoing medical treatment and changes to life at home.

Jason will be presented to the crowd before kick-off and will be interviewed at half-time, and players will be warming up in t-shirts to show support for Jason Bowen.

Supporters can donate to Jason via a bucket collection taking place outside the club shop, or via the link below.

CLUB SHOP

The club shop will be open between 9.30am and 5.30pm for this fixture.

The Westacres south stand is home to our family zone.

Entertainment begins when turnstiles open, so please join us early to make the most of our activities!

Located in the East Stand, the Riverside Lounge will be open for all match ticket holders from two hours before kick-off.

INCLUSION ROOM

As a club, we want the Swansea.com Stadium to be an inclusive and enjoyable environment for all supporters.

We have introduced an inclusion room in the West Stand which will be available to supporters who may require a quiet space during home matches. To access this, please simply alert your nearest steward or DLO steward.

Supporters observing Ramadan can use the inclusion room for prayer. Please ask your nearest steward if you wish to use the room.

LOVE FOOTBALL. PROTECT THE GAME

Swansea City reminds supporters travelling attending Saturday’s fixture that the club has a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour.

The club is fully supportive of the FA, Premier League and EFL’s ‘Love Football. Protect the Game’ campaign.

For the 2023-24 campaign there are tougher measures in place which will see people who are found to have committed offences related to tragedy chanting facing stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution. This abhorrent behaviour has no place in our game.

Recent years have also seen the introduction of enhanced sanctions applied for people identified entering the pitch, using pyros, taking drugs to games, throwing objects, engaging in discriminatory abuse or any instances of anti-social behaviour.
