Steve Cooper | We can approach final run-in with belief
Steve Cooper says Swansea City can take a lot of positivity into the final nine games of their play-off push.
The Swans picked up a hard-fought point against leaders West Brom at the Liberty on Saturday, moving them to within three points of the top six.
Next up is a trip to Middlesbrough, before games against Luton and Millwall.
And, as the business end of the season arrives, Cooper feels his side can approach the task at hand with a real belief they can achieve their goal.
Cooper said: “We are down a place in the league and a point closer to the play-offs – that sums up the Championship doesn’t it?
“It’s nine games to go, three points away from getting over the dotted line.
“There are worse places to be. I think about some of the teams who are below us who would do anything to be in the position we are in.
“We are only thinking really positively, and we are going for this. We are really going to back ourselves.”
