Steven Benda makes loan move to Peterborough United
Swansea City goalkeeper Steven Benda has joined Peterborough United on loan for the remainder of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 23-year-old German has made seven appearances for the Swans so far this year, having made eight in total following on from his debut against Millwall during the 2020-21 campaign.
He links up with Darren Ferguson’s side as they look to retain their Championship status following promotion last season, although he will not be eligible to play when the Swans face Posh in March.
He makes the move in the wake of the arrival of Andy Fisher from MK Dons for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
Benda – who is under contract until the summer of 2024 - joined the Swans from 1860 Munich in 2017, having been recommended to the club by former keeper Gerhard Tremmel.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Steven every success during his time at London Road.
