Stoke City | Meet the officials

Ruebyn Ricardo will be the man in the middle when Swansea City face Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday (12.30pm).

Ricardo started refereeing in 2013 when he broke his wrist in school and his PE teacher suggested that he referee some of the school football matches.  

Progressing through PGMO’s Development Group, Ricardo made his Championship debut during the 2024/25 season, where he was also the first referee of Black heritage to officiate the FA Vase final.  

This will be the second Swans game Ricardo has officiated, having took charge of Swansea's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the Swansea.com Stadium last term.

So far this season, he has overseen 14 fixtures across the EFL handing out 59 yellow cards and two red cards.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Daniel Leach and Matthew McGrath. Oliver Langford will be the fourth official.
