Supporters to return for Swansea City’s friendly with Southampton

Swansea City is delighted to confirm that following discussions with our local Safety Advisory Group (SAG), 8,200 supporters will be able to attend our pre-season friendly against Southampton at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, July 31 (3pm).

This fixture is a transition for the safe return of supporters to the Liberty and will be undertaken in line with SAG guidelines with a view to heading towards a larger capacity at the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

This agreed capacity has been taken in accordance with SAG and as a club we feel that the figure represents a safe and secure number with the health and safety of supporters being of paramount importance ahead of any further increase in capacity in due course.

Supporters will be seated in all four stands within the stadium and we also encourage fans to book in groups as we will be seating in groups of six maximum.

Season ticket holders and seasonal hospitality guests will be unable to sit in their usual seats. There will be no away fans permitted for this fixture.

You will be able to select the stand you wish to sit in and tickets will be allocated accordingly. Wheelchair users will see the option the select a wheelchair bay and associated personal assistant seat. There will be limited easy access seats listed for any supporters with mobility issues.

Season ticket holders will receive a priority window for purchasing tickets for this fixture (details below).

Ticket prices are as follows:

Adults - £15 (£12 for season ticket holders)*

Seniors (over-65s) and students - £7 (£5 for season ticket holders)*

Under-18s - £5 (£3 for season ticket holders)*

*There is no booking fee for online purchases using our print at home service. All tickets purchased by telephone with the Ticket Office are subject to a £2.50 booking fee per ticket.

Tickets will go on sale online HERE from 9am until 2pm on Friday, July 16 in an exclusive window for season ticket holders. From 2pm onwards tickets will go on general sale. If supporters cannot purchase online then they should call the Ticket Office on 01792 616400.

Fans are reminded that the Liberty Stadium ticket office is closed for in-person visits.

When purchasing a ticket(s), supporters are required to sign a Code of Conduct and if any supporter is unable to attend the fixture due to showing symptoms of Covid-19 then they are asked to inform the club. Symptoms can be found HERE.

All tickets will be delivered digitally and supporters will be required to print at home.

We are also pleased to announce that our new full-height automated turnstiles will be in place for this fixture, and we will communicate further information to all supporters before the game. It is of the utmost importance that you print your ticket at home and ensure you have this with you when you arrive at the stadium.

Please note it is the ticket holders responsibility to print their ticket at home prior to arriving at the stadium.

All tickets will contain a unique barcode reference and supporters are expected to receive their tickets 48 hours before the fixture. This will allow any supporter to get in contact with us should they display any Covid-19 symptoms or are isolating.

If you have developed symptoms between the point of purchase and attendance, you are required to contact the Ticket Office via ticketing@swanseacity.com and a full refund can be issued for you.

You should not attend the stadium if you display any Covid-19 symptoms and should seek guidelines by from NHS Direct by calling 111. If you attend the fixture with symptoms then then are potentially jeopardising the health of fellow supporters and stadium staff.

Our seasonal hospitality customers will be contacted separately by the club. Please keep an eye on your email that is registered to your account. Please note there will be no hospitality available to purchase for this fixture.

Supporters will be required to wear face masks upon arrival at the stadium, unless exempt, but they will not need to be worn during the game.

There will be no catering available in the stadium, however supporters will be able to bring a soft drink with them. Toilet provisions and usual disabled facilities will be available.

Details regarding a live stream of this game will also be announced in due course.

Supporters should be aware that the club is still awaiting further information regarding the start of the 2021-22 season. When we have more details, we will communicate this via our official channels.
