Swans Christmas Surprises with Westacres | Morriston Hospital

This Christmas, Swansea City are teaming up with club partner Westacres, to provide Christmas surprises to some very special people (and animals!) this festive season.

Swansea City club ambassador Lee Trundle visited Morriston hospital last week, with toys for children on the Oakwood Ward and Paediatric Assessment Unit.

Due to covid and the current restrictions in place, Lee was unfortunately unable to personally visit all of the children within the wards but was greeted by members of staff in reception at the hospital.

“It was a shame we couldn’t physically deliver to each and every child within the hospital," said Trundle.

“It was great to be able to meet some of the brilliant staff there who have worked tirelessly over the course of the pandemic despite the restrictions. 

“We're all hoping that the full squad will be able to make the visit next Christmas, should restrictions allow."
