Swansea City's memorable run to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup earned the club £1.1million.

The Swans beat Aston Villa, Gillingham and Brentford to set-up a last-eight clash with Premier League champions Manchester City.

Graham Potter's men had looked on course for a famous win over the Citizens when they led 2-0 at the hour mark, only to suffer late heartbreak at the Liberty.

But the prize money from progressing through three rounds, plus TV revenue and a share of the £250,000 EFL Divisional Prize Fund - split with Millwall for being the Championship clubs to go furthest in the competition - ensured the Swans made a seven-figure sum.
