Swans duo heading to World Cup
Swansea City duo Martin Olsson and Kristoffer Nordfedlt are heading to the World Cup this summer.
Left-back Olsson and goalkeeper Nordfeldt have both been included in the Swedes’ 23-man squad for the tournament in Russia, which begins on June 14.
Sweden are in Group F alongside Germany, Mexico and South Korea, who are captained by departing Swans midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng.
Swans keeper Lukasz Fabianski, meantime, has been named in Poland’s 35-man preliminary squad for the World Cup.
Renato Sanches, who has just completed a season-long loan at the Liberty Stadium, has been omitted by Portugal.
