Swansea City have been handed a home tie against Crystal Palace in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

Graham Potter's men will take on the Premier League team at the Liberty Stadium in the week commencing August 27.

The Swans last faced Palace in the top flight in December, with Jordan Ayew's goal helping the Swans to a 1-1 draw. The striker has since moved on loan to the South London side.

The Swans come into the competition at this stage alongside Stoke City and the 13 Premier League clubs who are not involved in European competition this season.

The draw was unseeded but was regionalised into north and south sections.
