Swans fans meet their heroes

Two lucky Swans fans were given the chance to meet their football idols, last week.

Aaron McMenamin, aged 5, and Joshua Francis, 8, were winners of the 'Meet Your Player' competition that was advertised with the launch of Swansea City's brand new away kit.

To win, Aaron and Joshua sent in pictures of themselves suited and booted in their brand new kits.

For their success, the two boys and their families were given the opportunity to meet the likes of Chico, Michu and Pablo Hernandez at the club's training ground.

'Meet Your Player' aims to bring the Swansea players closer to the fans.

Hanna Edwards, Joshua's mother, said it was a fantastic day for her son: "Joshua really enjoyed himself and has since framed the amazing gifts and pictures of him in his new Swansea City FC designed bedroom.

"Thank you so much for an amazing day and the chance to meet with the Swans players!"
