Swans hopeful over duo

Swansea City are hopeful that Federico Fernandez and Luciano Narsingh will be fit for the crunch trip to Bournemouth.

Fernandez missed the weekend defeat to Chelsea as a result of the knee problem he picked up at Manchester City six days earlier.

And Narsingh was absent for the second game in a row having twisted his ankle in the 1-1 draw with Everton just over a fortnight ago.

But the Swans are optimistic that both players will be back in contention for the trip to the Vitality Stadium this coming Saturday.

Centre-back Fernandez and winger Narsingh were both close to being passed fit for the Chelsea clash, hence the belief that they will be okay to face the Cherries.

But Kyle Bartley is less likely to feature against Bournemouth after scans showed he suffered knee ligament damage after replacing Fernandez at the Etihad Stadium.
