Swans Ladies' Emma Beynon reflects on season so far

10th December

Emma Beynon is one of the club's best prospects and we talked to the Wales Under-19 midfielder about her thoughts on the season so far.

That was a great result against PILCS on Sunday, would you say that it was your best victory of the season so far?
Along with the two wins against Cardiff City Women this was one of the best performances this season so far.

What do you think was the key to your victory, did anyone play well or was it a good all round team effort?

The whole team played well on the day and the effort was outstanding from everyone.

Do you think that this result, along with the draw against Cardiff Met, should be a huge boost to the team's confidence?
Confidence is high at the moment! We are all working hard in training and I believe that there is better to come.

Do you feel overall that the team is stronger this season?
Yes, we have grown as a group over the last 18 months.

Is it a little frustrating that your game this week with Cwmbran Celtic is off due to international call ups, but also good to see that the players are getting recognition for their efforts?
It is frustrating because it breaks momentum but we are extremely proud of all of our players who are involved with international squads.

Do you still think you or anyone else can catch Cardiff Met before the end of the season?
The current top four teams can all still compete for the title this season so it's all to play for!

Swansea still have three trophies to play for, what would it mean to the club if you could win some silverware again?

Our aim every year is to win trophies so we will be doing our best to achieve this.
