Swans Ladies live on Radio 1

One player will be live on Radio 1’s early morning show at 5.55am every weekday next week to celebrate Radio 1’s Biggest Weekend, which takes place in Swansea’s Singleton Park on May 26-27.

Kate Brisland, Katy Hosford, Alicia Powe, Sarah Adams and Stacey John-Davis will be choosing a song to be played each day as part of the show’s regular Resident DJ feature.

They will also be chatting to the show’s presenter about their season in the Welsh Premier Women’s League.

“It’s great for us as a club to be involved to celebrate the Biggest Weekend coming to Swansea. We’re really looking forward to being live on Radio 1 next week,” said Swans Ladies goalkeeper Brisland.
