Swans stars go back to school

22nd October

Jack Cork and Wayne Routledge were back in the classroom this week as they were interviewed by Ysgol Pen Y Bryn pupils for their book about the Swans.
The duo, along with club ambassador Lee Trundle, were asked questions from a small panel of students for the class project. The assignment will see the youngsters write a variety of stories about the club, its players and  history before it is printed and available to read in Swansea Central Library.
Asking them everything from how often they train to the best goal they've scored, the pupils put them under the spotlight for the book that will also feature photographs and artwork created by themselves.
"It's a good project," said Cork. "It seems interesting and a lot of work is going into it.
"It's good for us players to come to do something like this, especially if we've had a bad result like we had on Monday against Stoke. It helps put a smile back on your face."
