Swans wait for Abraham news

Swansea City will wait to see whether Tammy Abraham faces a spell on the sidelines after he was stretchered off late on at Burnley.

The Swans striker had complained of back trouble early in the second half and was eventually forced off eight minutes from the end after shooting from distance and then collapsing in pain.

But it is too early to say whether Abraham will miss any further action as a result of the problem.

“The physios said his back went into spasm, but we will have to see if there’s any injury there in the next day or so,” said Swans boss Paul Clement.

Abraham’s fellow frontman Wilfried Bony returned after an injury lay-off at Burnley, making a positive impression after coming on at the break.

He will be in pole position to start against Bournemouth next weekend should Abraham be ruled out.
