Swansea City confirm 2026-27 pre-season schedule

Swansea City can confirm the club’s pre-season schedule ahead of the 2026-27 Championship season.

The first-team squad will report to Fairwood in the coming days for physical testing, before beginning their training programme.

The squad will spend a week in Austria between July 17 and July 24 to provide the opportunity to work in a different environment at a high-quality facility which allows full focus on the training and games schedule. 

Three fixtures will be played against high-calibre opposition during that week as we face Holstein Kiel, VFL Bochum and Serie A club, Udinese.

We will also hold a home friendly at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, August 1. Spanish side CD Leganes will be the opposition and the game will kick-off at 3pm.

Behind closed doors fixtures – which will not be publicised or open to the public – will also be played during pre-season. 

Ticketing information for all the below fixtures will be confirmed soon.

SwansTV will produce highlights packages from all four pre-season fixtures that are open to the public, but the games will not be streamed in full as the club is working through the process of completing a switch to a new streaming partner ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Austria tour fixtures

• Saturday, July 18 – Swansea City v Holstein Kiel – Kufstein Arena – 4.30pm local time.
• Tuesday, July 21 – Swansea City v VFL Bochum – Fussballplatz Mittersill – 6pm local time.
• Friday, July 24 – Swansea City v Udinese – Fussballplatz Mittersill - 1pm local time.

Ticketing prices

Tickets for all fixtures in Austria will be pay on the day only, and only cash payment will be accepted for tickets and refreshments.

Swansea City v Holstein Kiel - €15 for Adults, Kids up to 10 years old go free.

Swansea City v VFL Bochum and Udinese - €15 for Adults, Kids up to 12 years old go free.
