Swansea City confirm retained list ahead of 2025-26 season

Swansea City can confirm the club’s retained list ahead of the 2025-26 Championship campaign.
Club greats Joe Allen and Kyle Naughton recently confirmed they will leave the Swans, while Cyrus Christie, Kristian Pedersen, Jon McLaughlin will also depart when their contracts expire this summer.
Harry Darling has been offered a new contract to remain with the Swans, and discussions between the club and the player are ongoing.
Lewis O’Brien, Hannes Delcroix and Myles Peart-Harris have all returned to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their respective loan spells.
The club has already taken up the option to extend midfielder Cameron Congreve’s contract through to the summer of 2026, following his impressive season on loan at Bromley.
At academy level, defender Jack Fanning has been offered a new contract, while scholars Callum Deacon, Josh Pescatore, Ramon Rees-Siso and Thomas Searle have all been offered professional deals.
Maliq Cadogan has had his contract terminated by mutual consent, while Richard Faakye, Sammy Henia-Kamau, Ben Hughes, Aidan Higgins, Kiel Higginson, Sam Seager and Osian Williams will all leave the Swans this summer.
