Swansea City Derby Under-18s Liam Cullen

15th April

Swansea City Under-18s aim to continue their unbeaten Premier League merit league run when they face Derby at their academy on Saturday (1pm).
The scholars currently lie second in the group 3 table as goals from midfielder Keiran Evans and winger Liam Cullen secured the young Swans a 2-1 win over Stoke at Landore last weekend.
And Cullen, who netted his fourth league goal of the campaign, believes the side are more than capable of adding to that win this weekend.
"We go into the game full of confidence," he said. "We are unbeaten so far in the merit league group and we want to maintain our run and finish the season on a high.
"It has been a difficult season but we have grown as a team and as individuals with each game that we have played.
"We are growing in confidence as the games come and we want to turn that confidence into results."

Despite a pre-season ankle ligament injury, that kept the first-year scholar out of action until October, the Tenby-born winger/striker has been a regular in the Under-18s starting line-up.
And Cullen, who celebrates his 17th birthday later this month, admits he has ambitions to add to his goal tally to help the U18s maintain their unbeaten run.
"Category one football has been a great experience for everyone involved," he continued. "The injury I had at the start of the season limited my game time but it is great to be back playing regularly.
"It was great to get another goal last weekend and help the team win against Stoke, I aim to get on the scoresheet as much as I can.
"I am enjoying my football at the moment and I want to add to my game as much as I can between now and the end of the season."
