Swansea City DSA set to sponsor Swansea.com Stadium Sensory Room for another season

Swansea City Disabled Supporters' Association will once again sponsor the stadium’s sensory room during the 2026-27 season.

The supporter group, which offers support and friendship to disabled fans while also acting as advisors and consultants for the club, have donated brand new welcome packs, toys and rocket light to help the room remain a calming and welcoming experience for supporters who may find the traditional matchday difficult.

The room opened in 2019, making the Swans one of the first clubs in the country to recognise the need for such a space when it came to making football accessible.

Since its introduction, hundreds of children and adults - who may not otherwise have been able to attend games - have used the converted hospitality on matchdays to enable them to watch the football.

Swansea City’s disability access officer, Hayley Ford, said: “The sensory room is an important part of making the matchday accessible and we can’t thank the DSA enough for once against sponsoring the space.

“Their guidance and support ensures Swansea City continues to strive to be as accessible as possible and, by providing new toys and items for the sensory room, they have also helped ensure our existing provisions are welcoming.”

Swansea City DSA secretary Cath Dyer and chair Kelly Salisbury added: “We are extremely proud as a DSA to work alongside Swansea City AFC and the Swansea.com Stadium.

"Everyone’s needs and circumstances are individual, and it is important to recognise that and support those differences. 

"We are committed to making the matchday experience as inclusive and accessible as possible. 

"The sensory room is a fantastic, safe facility that helps make football more comfortable and welcoming for supporters who may find the traditional matchday environment difficult.

"We are delighted to continue sponsoring the sensory room and donating sensory equipment and toys, and helping ensure Swansea City is an inclusive club for everyone."
