Swansea City file financial statements for 2024-25 reporting period

Swansea City AFC has published its financial statements for the year ended June 30 2025. The financial statements report a loss before tax for the year of £21.6m compared with a £15.2m loss before tax for the 11-month period ending June 30 2024. 

Turnover of £22.3m represented a 3.3% increase on the prior period. 

Operational costs grew from £47.0m for the 11 months ended June 30 2024 to £51.3m for the year ended June 30 2025.

Profit on player trading for the year amounted to £8.1m compared with £10.5m in the prior period. 

The club’s ownership group has invested £21m into the club by way of equity share issue in the 2024-25 season. Further investment has been made into the club in the current season.
