Gary Richards praised Swansea City Under-21s on an excellent season in Premier League Division Two that will see the side face Aston Villa in the play-offs.
The development squad stretched their unbeaten run to seven games with a commanding 3-0 win over Fulham at Landore on Monday afternoon.
A first half goal from Adnan Maric was added to by a double from Kenji Gorre in the second half to take the winger's tally to six this season.
"We were a bit flat in the first half and were perhaps fortunate to be a goal up," said Richards. "We added a lot more intensity in the second half to take control of the game, which was pleasing to see.
"Kenji has come up with some important goals for the team since he rejoined us from his loan spell. He is part of a front three who are very exciting to watch."
The young Swans' fifth win in a row means they are now undefeated since February, and they now face Aston Villa in the league play-offs.
"Our unbeaten run has come at the right time," added Richards. "The boys have put in some terrific performances to produce some very good results over the last few weeks.
"We are now looking forward to the play-offs, which is an exciting opportunity for our players to try and gain promotion.
"From here we have to refocus and make sure we do ourselves justice in that play-off game. Our target is to get promotion - we know it will be difficult but we look forward to the challenge."

The date and venue of Swansea City Under-21s play-off tie against Aston Villa will be confirmed later this week.
