Matthew's House Festive Funfair

Swansea City is delighted to announce a special Christmas-themed pre-match event at the Swansea.com Stadium ahead of our home clash against Middlesbrough on Saturday December 16.

The Matthew’s House Festive Funfair will take place at the south-east end of the stadium, with supporters encouraged to sport their Christmas jumpers and join us for a fun-packed bash, filled with a variety of yuletide activities and entertainment.

Matthew's House seeks to provide a space for the most vulnerable people in Swansea, including those struggling with homelessness, mental health and addictions, and the day aims to raise awareness and funds for the services they offer.

The funfair - which will open at midday on matchday - will be free to enter for all those with a match ticket and, with an ice rink, bouncy castle and children's DJ, Junior Jacks are sure to be entertained right up until kick-off.

Fans can reign in the holiday period with outlets serving mulled wine, bratwurst and other festive treats, while supporters can also donate by purchasing a Christmas tree decoration* to hang on the club's own tree, with Swansea City first-team stars appearing to switch on the Christmas lights.

Further fundraising activities will take place on the day, with details surrounding these to be confirmed in due course.

You can join in with Christmas carols, courtesy of the South Wales Rock Choir, get in the holiday spirit and raise money for a worthy cause as we build up to the match action for Swansea City v Middlesbrough.

Tickets for the fixture are available to purchase below.

*Christmas decorations cost £2, with the amount being donated to Matthew’s House to help feed the homeless this festive period.
