Swansea City International Cup Hertha Berlin

2nd February

Swansea City Under-23s will play their Premier League International Cup quarter-final tie against Hertha Berlin II at the Liberty Stadium.
The match will be played on Tuesday, February 28 (7pm), with ticket details to be announced in the coming week.
The young Swans qualified for the knockout stage of the competition as one of two best placed runner-up teams following group stage wins over Feyenoord and Chelsea, plus a draw against Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
German youngsters Hertha Berlin topped Group F after a 2-2 draw against Spanish side Athletic Bilbao before wins over Everton and Reading's development teams.
In the knockout stages the ties are decided in one-off matches, with extra-time and then penalties required if the match is level after 90 minutes.
The U23s have played four times at the Liberty Stadium this season, including three outings in the Checkatrade Trophy before a defeat on penalties against Coventry City in January.
