Swansea City have launched a new video which reinforces its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

The video will be played on the big screens on match days at the Swansea.com Stadium and is a reminder to everyone attending that there is no room for any kind of discrimination or abuse at football matches.

Together, we can all ensure Swansea City is a welcoming environment for everyone.

“Swansea City is a club that understands and respects its place in the community and is proud to work with so many diverse groups to help break down barriers which may exist for people who want to watch football,” said chief executive Julian Winter.

“This video reinforces the club’s belief that there is no room for discrimination or abuse in football or in wider society.”

Sian Davies, EDI lead at Swansea City Supporters Trust added: “This video shows that we – the club, fans and players – are united when it comes to saying that there is no place for discrimination at Swansea City.

“We are all part of the same football family, and this video will be played on match days to remind us that it is the responsibility of all of us to make sure that visiting the Swansea.com Stadium is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

“We are proud to be a part of the club’s continued work to reinforce its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.”
