Swansea City set to launch The Foundry
Swansea City will open The Foundry, the club's new retail and ticketing store, at 10am tomorrow (Saturday, August 1).
The launch follows an extensive refurbishment of the club shop, which closed in May to undergo a transformation into a larger, modern retail destination. Supporters will have their first opportunity to purchase the club's new home kit from The Foundry ahead of the pre-season friendly against CD Leganés.
The Foundry will provide an improved supporter experience by offering a dedicated home for the club’s retail and non-matchday ticketing operations, making it easier for supporters to access the services they need.
The redevelopment reflects Swansea City's ongoing commitment to delivering a better experience for supporters, creating a welcoming environment that combines contemporary sports retail design with the heritage and identity of both the club and the city.
ALL UNDER ONE ROOF
The Foundry is home to Swansea City’s retail operations, offering the full range of Swansea City kits, training wear, travel wear, lifestyle clothing and accessories in one place.
The club’s ticketing team is also based within the store, allowing supporters to purchase tickets and access assistance with enquiries on non-matchdays in a convenient setting.
Having these services together under one roof will provide a more streamlined, accessible and welcoming experience for supporters. The store also features improved accessibility measures, including increased floor space, a lowered counter and a hearing loop to better support all visitors.
THE FOUNDRY OPENS ITS DOORS
During the initial opening period, capacity inside the store will be managed to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. At busy times, supporters may be asked to queue before entering. These measures are in place to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience when visiting The Foundry.
Swansea City's Head of Commercial, Katie Doyle, said:
“We’re pleased to launch The Foundry, which marks an important development in our retail and ticketing provision.
“With these services together in one location, we can offer a more streamlined and accessible experience for supporters. We’re proud to create a space that reflects the identity of the club and the heritage of the city, and we look forward to welcoming supporters throughout the season.”
