Swansea City Under-18s extended their unbeaten run in the Barclays Premier League group 3 merit division at Landore on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Stoke.
Midfielder Keiran Evans broke the deadlock with a long-range strike that beat Stoke keeper Mitchel Allen after 20 minutes.
Winger Liam Cullen doubled the hosts' advantage just before half-time after he latched onto a cross from Mael Davies before firing home from inside the area.
Both sides continued to create chances in the second half, with striker Jordan Garrick going close to extending the Swans' lead.
At the other end, Swans keeper Lewis Thomas pulled off a string of saves to keep out the Stoke attack that included a spectacular stop to deny Potters midfielder Jacob Twyford in the 72nd minute.
Stoke did pull a goal back as captain Jake Dunwoody headed home a corner minutes before the final whistle to set up a nervy finale.
But Swansea held on to take all three points at Landore to extend their unbeaten league run to four games.
Victory moves the young Swans above Stoke in the Group 3 merit table.
