Swansea City Under-18s Brighton

17th September

Swansea City Under-18s went down to a 3-1 defeat against Brighton in Premier League South on Saturday.
The young Swans found themselves two goals down early on in the windy conditions at the AMEX Performance Centre.
Striker Liam Cullen netted his fourth goal of the season to get the Swans back into the game with an audacious 45-yard lob.
But despite the U18s controlling the remainder of the first-half, they couldn't find an equaliser before the break.
The home side took advantage of the conditions in the second half as they tested the Swans defence before netting their third of the afternoon on 70 minutes.
Coach Eric Ramsay admitted the defeat was disappointing. "It was one of those games that just did not go our way today," he said.
"Myself and Chris (Llewellyn) feel the game was relatively even and we gave a good account of ourselves in spells.
"The conditions were a factor in the game today and we did not use it to our advantage in the first half. We could have managed the first 15 minutes of the game much better and capitalised on our chances. In the end that cost us."
