Swansea City Under-18s Chris Llewellyn

25th November

Coach Chris Llewellyn has told Swansea City Under-18s to keep progressing ahead of their Premier League South fixture against Norwich City at Landore on Saturday (11am).
A promising performance saw the young Swans draw their last league game 1-1 against Southampton earlier this month, while they followed that up with a 3-0 victory over Cardiff City in the third round of the FAW Youth Cup last weekend.
And with the likes of 17-year-old striker, Liam Cullen having already featured for the club's U23s side earlier this month, Llewellyn has been proud of the early progress his players have made.
"Progression to the next level is what this team is about," he said. "This squad is about development and the more we can push into U23s team the better.
"Our aim is to develop these players towards a path for the first team. As academy coaches, that is what we are striving for."

The young Swans face a Norwich side that beat them 6-0 on the opening day of the season.
But they have made strides since then, with victory at Leicester City and holding Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
"We have progressed as a team and individuals since the last time we played Norwich and must look to dominate the game," added Llewellyn.
"We must consolidate our home performances as we have only been beaten once at Landore this season and want to keep up that record."
