Swansea City Under-18s Leicester Premier League South

30th October

Swansea City Under-18s face Leicester City in the Barclays Premier League South Division at Belvoir Drive on Saturday (noon).
The Foxes are second in the league - two points off leaders Chelsea - and will be looking to extend their six-game unbeaten run, while Swansea's scholars hope to build on their 2-2 draw at home to West Ham last weekend.
A number of Swans players return from Wales international duty including the attacking trio of Liam Cullen, Liam Edwards and Keiran Evans.
And U18s coach Eric Ramsay says he wants the side to continue their good form going into the second round of games.
"Myself and Chris (Llewellyn) have challenged the players to start their season from here," he said.
"We have made a lot of progress over the past few months and the players applied what they have learned during the game with West Ham to finish the game strongly and earn a deserved draw.
"We must look to continue this form to develop and build on what we have learnt as we head into the second half of the season.
"We will be aiming to be much more competitive during the second round of fixtures.
"Category one has been a huge step up and been a massive learning curve for us, but we are able to take lots of positives.
"We are more competitive and much better placed as a squad than we were two or three months ago.
"The challenge for the team now is to demonstrate on Saturday how far they have come in the past few months."
