Swansea City Under-18s Norwich City Causso Darame

11th August

Swansea City Under-18s winger Causso Darame is looking forward to his second season in Category One football following his toughest pre-season yet.
The U18s make the trip to Norwich City on Friday (1.30pm) for the opening game of their Premier League South campaign at Norwich on Friday (1.30pm).
The young Swans, who ended last season unbeaten to top their tier 3 merit group, go into the campaign off the back of a solid pre-season campaign that saw them beat Austrian side SC Wiener Neustadt and Hull City's academy.
Darame, who scored three goals in those games, says his team-mates are fit and raring to go thanks to a strenuous pre-season schedule
"I am very excited for the new season and can't wait to get started," he said. "We have had a good pre-season but I have never faced one as tough as this. The whole team have worked really hard.

"The first-year scholars who have joined the U18s have added a different dimension to the team.
"As a squad we feel fit, ready and are raring to go. We just have to show what we can do on the pitch.
"We learned a lot from our first season in Category One football - now we need to show that we can better ourselves.
"We can go into our first game with confidence following the results we took to top our merit group at the end of last season.
"This year is also a chance for me to show that I have improved and developed as a player. I scored a few goals last season and I have a target for even more this campaign."
