Swansea City Under-18s West Ham Premier League South

23rd October

Swansea City Under-18s face West Ham in the Barclays Premier League South Division at Landore training ground on Saturday (11am).
The Hammers go into the game off the back of five wins in a row, lifting the side to fourth in the table.
Meanwhile, the scholars will be looking to bounce-back after their 3-1 defeat away at Tottenham last weekend.
U18s coach Chris Llewellyn has called on the young team to continue to create chances in front of goal.
"We want the players to keep building on the positives from the Spurs game," he said. "We created good chances last Saturday and should have scored more goals.
"This weekend Eric (Ramsay) and I want to see us recreate those chances and be more clinical in the final third.
"We know we need to start turning chances into goals and that is what we have been working on.
"Speaking as a former striker, the time to worry is when you are not creating chances, I believe it is only a matter of time before the goals will come for this group of players."
The young Swans will be without a number of players for this weekend's match with around five scholars away on Wales' international duty.
"International call-ups mean we are working with reduced numbers," Llewellyn added.
"Saturday will be a chance for the younger players to step-up and stake a claim.
"Having players away does add an extra challenge but every game in the league is tough and it is a challenge we are looking forward to."
