Swansea City Under-21s Aston Villa Premier League

19th October

Coach Gary Richards labelled Swansea City Under-21s' five-goal victory Aston Villa as the side's best performance of the season.
A dominating first-half saw the Swans take the lead with goals from Oliver McBurnie and Keston Davies.
A superb curling free-kick from Henry Jones, a solo effort from Daniel James before a fifth from Kyle Copp in the second half rounded off a fine display at Landore.
And Richards had nothing but praise for the development squad's five-star performance that lifts the U21s into third in the Barclays Premier League Division Two table.
"Today was without a doubt our best performance of the season," he said. "We have had a few good displays at Landore and earned some good wins in the last few months but today will take some beating.
"The first-half was especially pleasing. We were very aggressive, played with a high intensity to get the goals and probably deserved a couple more.
"We need performances like this week in week out - if the performance levels are this good then more results will come.
"Results like this come from a team effort and everyone played their part today.
"Myself and Cameron (Toshack) are also pleased that we scored with five different players, which only shows our strength and depth."
He added: "It was great to see Keston and Kyle get their first goals of the season.
"Having worked with them last year at an Under-18 level, it is pleasing to see both players developing their game and progressing through the academy, which is what we are all about.
"We have had a great result but we must recover and turn our focus to the next game against Fulham."
