Swansea City Under-21s Blackburn Premier League Division Two

28th February

Swansea City Under-21s return to Premier League Division Two action on Monday with a trip to Blackburn Rovers (7pm).
The development squad go into the game off the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat against title chasing Aston Villa last Monday.
Coach Gary Richards is keen for the Under-21s to bounce back from that defeat.
"We are disappointed with the result against Aston Villa earlier this week," he said.
"Everyone who is part of this squad is keen to bounce back, put in a good performance and get a result on Monday.
"We were disappointed with the goals we conceded from crosses but we are pleased with the chances we created in front of goal against Villa.
"We have spoken about being clinical in the final third before, so we know where we need to improve."
The Swans currently sit eighth in the division with four games in hand, including Monday's match against Blackburn.
With eight games left to play, the development squad could still reach the play-offs if they move into the top five by April.
"We face Blackburn for the first time this season, so the game will be a new challenge for us," Richards added. "We expect a tough match and we will need to be at our best to get a result.
"It is key we find some consistency in the league from this point and get back to the level of performance we know we are capable of. If our performances are at a good standard the results will fall into place.
"Development of players is our main objective but, of course, we want to win matches. The next eight games are key to shaping our season."
