Swansea City Under-21s Brighton Premier League Division Two

7th December

Gary Richards believes lessons learned from recent defeats helped Swansea City Under-21s produce a dominating performance in a 4-0 win over Brighton in Premier League Division Two on Monday.
The development squad raced into a 2-0 lead after just ten minutes at Landore thanks to goals from Botti Biabi and Henry Jones.
Jones volleyed home his second a few minutes later before substitute Owain Jones completed the scoring minutes before half-time.
And coach Richards was hugely satisfied with the performance that saw the young Swans take their fifth win of the season.
"It was a very good performance from start to finish," he said. "We played on the front foot and were very aggressive with our attacking play.
"We dominated the first half and we managed our lead well in the second 45 minutes.
"Myself and Cameron (Toshack) are pleased with a more clinical performance in front of goal - it was something that had been lacking in our last few games despite some good performances.
"We have taken a lot out of our recent defeats and learned from our mistakes - we showed that in today's performance.
"As a team, we now need to make sure we push on from this result, maintain our performance and carry that into our final game before the Christmas break."
The U21s' next fixture sees them take on West Brom in Tamworth at 7pm on Monday, December 14.
