Swansea City Under-21s Brighton Premier League Division Two

7th December

Swansea City Under-21s are back in Premier League Division Two action this Monday (noon) at home to Brighton.
The development squad will be looking to bounce back following back-to-back defeats in the league at the hands of Fulham and West Ham.
The Seagulls, meanwhile, are bottom of the table after losing 2-1 at home to Arsenal last Monday.
Despite recent defeats, coach Gary Richards has encouraged the young Swans to make their good performances count to end a disappointing run in the league.
"We need to ensure we continue our level of performance on Monday," he said. "We don't feel we have got what we deserved the last few games. We have been unlucky at times with the chances we have had, especially against Fulham.
"But there is no doubt we need to be more clinical and braver in the final third of the pitch.
"We have looked fairly solid in defence but we need to continue our creativity, look for that extra pass that will break defences and more ruthless with our shooting to get goals.
"We earned our first victory of the season against Brighton in what was a close game against them back in August.
"Overall, we must look to get back to winning ways and make the hard work we put in on the pitch count to ensure we get what we deserve.
"Brighton are a similar team to us, they like to get the ball on the ground and play football, so we can not underestimate them."
Defender Stephen Kingsley could return to the squad following his three-month loan at League One side Crewe, while goalkeeper Josh Vickers will miss the game through injury.
