Swansea City Under-23s Cameron Toshack

19th February

Cameron Toshack has challenged on Swansea City Under-23s to do themselves justice as they head into the final five fixtures of their Premier League 2 campaign.

The young Swans are seven points clear at the top of Division 2 ahead of Monday night's clash with Norwich City at Landore (7pm).

Consecutive defeats have stalled the Swans' push for the league title, but they now look to take a big step towards lifting silverware with victory over the Canaries.

"We are looking forward to the final league push," said Toshack. "Our victory over Southampton in the Premier League Cup earlier this week was a step in the right direction and even though we narrowly lost our games against Fulham and Brighton, we were competitive in both matches that could have gone either way.

"A win on Monday would be a huge step toward consolidating top spot but we need to put that to one side and focus on getting the performance right.

"We need to be resilient and focused enough to get what we deserve this season. The biggest fear is we don't do ourselves justice in these final games.

"Myself and Gary (Richards) want to see competitive performances. We can go into the game with confidence and an unbeaten home record, but we must be prepared for a tough game against a side who have just beaten Everton."
