Swansea City under-23s Gary Richards

27th November

Coach Gary Richards wants to see Swansea City Under-23s' Premier League 2 momentum continue against Norwich on Monday (7pm).
The game is the first of two tests the young Swans face at Carrow Road in the space of eight days as the side also meet the Canaries in the second round of the Checkatrade Trophy a week Tuesday.
Victory would see Swansea extend their Premier League win streak to five games as Monday's 1-0 win over Brighton moved the under-23s five points clear of Wolves at the top of Division 2.
"We could not be happier with our league position so far this season," Richards said.
"We have picked up some good results over the past few weeks and can take confidence into Monday's game because of that.
"Our side showed some good attacking play against Brighton with the resilience to grind out another positive result, but we know we are capable of better."

The young Swans have only taken two victories away from home in PL2 so far this season - the first a 4-3 victory against Wolves in August.
That result was followed by an impressive 2-1 win on the road against Aston Villa last month with Richards calling for a repeat of that performance on Monday.
"We have taken some good victories away from home so far this season and can't look to stop now," he continued. "It is important our away record keeps on improving.
"When there has been set-backs and defeats this season we have recovered quickly and bounced back straight away but we can't afford to lose focus at this time of the season."
