Swansea City welcomes MiMentor as Academy partner
Swansea City is delighted to announce MiMentor as our academy partner for the next three seasons.
The partnership will see the academy utilise MiMentor's coach development and learning platform, supporting the continued professional development of academy coaching staff.
MiMentor provides a central hub for coach education, enabling clubs and sporting organisations to deliver and manage learning, CPD, mentoring and coaching resources in one place.
The platform is designed to support continuous professional development and help organisations build aligned coaching pathways and a strong culture of learning.
The partnership reflects Swansea City's ongoing commitment to investing in the development of people, ensuring academy staff have access to the tools and resources needed to support young players throughout their journey.
Ryan Davies, Swansea City’s academy manager said “We’re delighted to welcome MiMentor as an academy partner.
“Developing our coaches is just as important as developing our players, and we’re always looking at ways to enhance the support and opportunities available to our staff.
“MiMentor’s platform will play an important role in that, and we’re looking forward to working together over the next three seasons.”
James Baker, co-founder of MiMentor, said: "Great players are developed through great coaching, and that's where this partnership is focused. Over the next three years, MiMentor will provide every coach across the under-nine to under-21 pathway with access to the tools, resources, and development opportunities they need to continue raising standards.
Each coach will have a dedicated space to support their own learning, bringing together Swansea City's internal CPD alongside MiMentor's wider library of educational content. We're proud to support a club with such a strong reputation for developing talented players and coaches."
