Swansea City Women add four signings as Ellie Lake returns

Swansea City Women have completed a quartet of signings ahead of the new Genero Adran Premier season, including the return of club stalwart Ellie Lake.
Midfielder Eilish Mitchell, Goalkeeper Amelia Forkings and centre-back Caitlin Seaborne have also joined the Swans, with all four players signing semi-professional contracts.
Lake is back at the Swans having left at the end of the 2023-24 campaign, having spent seven successful seasons with the club, winning all available domestic silverware and featuring in the Champions League.
She returns having spent last season with Gwalia United.
Seaborne joins having helped Pontypridd secure promotion from the Adran South last term, and has also had a stint in America with Jacksonville Armada this summer.
Midfielder Mitchell links up with the Swans after spending last season with Swansea University, where she worked with the new Swans assistant head coach Dan Sheehan.
Mitchell spent 13 years on the books at Chelsea, and helped them win the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
She subsequently spent two years with Brighton, and was involved in their senior squad for their League Cup campaign before moving to the university in 2024.
Goalkeeper Forkings, meanwhile, is a former Wales Under-19 international who spent part of last season with Pontypridd United Women after returning from a knee injury.
She has previously featured for Cardiff Met Women and Cardiff City Women.
