Swansea City Women sign forward Annabel Stokes
Swansea City Women are delighted to announce the signing of forward Annabel Stokes from Pure Swansea ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 20-year-old has signed a one-year semi-professional contract with the Swans and will wear the number 18 shirt.
Stokes joins the Swans following an impressive 2025-26 campaign with Pure, scoring 25 goals across all competitions while helping the side lift the West Wales Cup.
The forward netted twice in the final against Swansea City Under-19s and was also named in the Genero Adran South Team of the Season after scoring nine goals in 11 league appearances during her second campaign with the club.
The 20-year-old joined Pure Swansea from Tunbridge Wells Foresters in 2024, having previously spent four years within the Crystal Palace academy setup.
She has also previously worked with assistant manager Dan Sheehan during her time at Swansea University
Swansea City Women head coach Yzzy Taylor said “ Annabel has demonstrated over the last two seasons the threat that she can offer in Welsh football with her performances in the Adran South.
“I think it’s important for her now to have the opportunity to demonstrate that at Adran Premier level. She offers something completely different to what we already have within the group.
“She has fitted in really well since joining us at the beginning of pre-season, and I can’t wait to see her play.”
