Swansea City Women's season opener chosen for live television coverage by S4C
Swansea City Women’s Genero Adran Premier opener against Wrexham has been chosen for live television coverage by S4C.
The Swans will play their first game as a semi-professional side against newly-promoted Wrexham on Sunday, September 17, with kick-off at 5.45pm.
The game will be shown by S4C’s flagship football programme Sgorio, with coverage being hosted by Sioned Dafydd.
As part of the Welsh language broadcaster’s push to promote the women’s game, they are doubling the number of fixtures they show across the 2023-24 campaign.
At domestic level they will show games across the Genero Adran Premier, the Genero Adran Trophy, and the Bute Energy Welsh Cup, as well as broadcasting the highlights of the Wales Women senior side’s fictures in the Nations League.
