Swansea City’s friendly against Swindon Town cancelled

Swansea City’s pre-season friendly against Swindon Town has been cancelled.

The fixture was due to take place at the County Ground on Saturday, July 17 but will not go ahead due to ongoing logistical and operational issues at the League Two club.

The club are in the process of trying to arrange a new fixture and any confirmation of this will be published in due course.

Swansea City’s pre-season is set to continue with a trip to Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday, July 20 (7pm) before facing Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday, July 24 (3pm).

The Swans then face Forest Green at the New Lawn on Wednesday, July 28 (7pm) before rounding off preparations for the 2021-22 campaign with a home clash against Southampton at the Liberty on Saturday, July 31 (3pm).
