Ben Cabango Middlesbrough

Ben Cabango returns to the Swansea City starting line-up in the solitary change for this evening’s game against Birmingham City.

The centre-half comes in at the expense of Wayne Routledge – who drops to the bench – with the Swans set to once again operate with a back three.

Freddie Woodman is in goal, with Kyle Naughton, Cabango and Marc Guehi making up a central defensive trio.

Connor Roberts and Jake Bidwell will operate as wing-backs, with Jay Fulton and captain Matt Grimes – who will make his 100th Swansea appearance – anchoring the midfield.

Conor Gallagher and Andre Ayew will provide support for Rhian Brewster, who is fit enough to lead the line after taking a knock to his shoulder against Sheffield Wednesday.

The hosts have named former Swans academy player Jayden Reid on their bench.
