Ben Cabango v Plymouth Argyle

Ben Cabango is passed fit to captain Swansea City at Middlesbrough on the opening day of the Championship season, with summer arrivals Cameron Burgess and Ethan Galbraith set to make their debuts on Teesside.

Defender Cabango has been recovering from a calf injury, and he comes straight into the starting line-up to skipper the Swans.

Lawrence Vigouroux is between the sticks, with Cabango and Burgess being joined by full-backs Josh Tymon and Josh Key.

Galbraith, Jay Fulton and Gonçalo Franco make up the Swans midfield, with Ronald and Jisung Eom on the flanks.

Last season’s topscorer Liam Cullen leads the line for the visitors.

Summer arrivals Melker Widell, Bobby Wales, Kaelan Casey and Zeidane Inoussa could all make their Swansea debuts from the bench.
