Ben Cabango returns to captain the side as Swansea City make five changes for the midweek clash with Southampton at St Mary's.

The Wales international starts for the first time since the draw with Sheffield United after recovering from a heel problem.

Marko Stamenic, Elijah Just, Joseph Opoku and Zan Vipotnik also come into the starting line-up, with Josh Key, Stephen Eustaquio, Melker Widell, Jisung Eom and Adam Idah the players to make way.

Lawrence Vigouroux is in goal, with Cabango slotting in alongside Filip Lissah, Stephen Welsh and Josh Tymon in the Swansea defence.

The New Zealand duo of Stamenic and Just are joined by Jay Fulton in the middle of the park, with Opoku and Moussa Yeo occupying the flanks.

Vipotnik leads the line, with the Slovenian and goalkeeper Vigouroux in line to make their 100th Swansea City appearances.
